The English Premier League is back, and BabaGol always brings you the other side of the famous stories.
Here are five reasons why we can't wait anymore for English football - from our unique point of view.
Liverpool bring a 30-year drought to an end
We can't ignore the best team in the league, who is now only a few points away from winning its first title since 1990. Their squad is tremendous, but its big strength is in the combination of some of the best players from all over the world.
They have two of the current African leading players, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané. In addition, there is some Brazilian flavor with Roberto Firmino and Alisson. Even some of the European players contain the stories of immigrants in the continent, like Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi. A global mix, which makes Liverpool a real BabaGol team.
Every team needs Raúl Jiménez
Wolves are making a tremendous season, as they are still active in the Europa League and aim for a Champions League spot next season. The team became a Portuguese colony with eight players and a coach, but their real leader is a Mexican.
Raúl Jiménez is Wolves' top scorers with 13 league goals, and he is a significant piece of his team's success. The 29-year-old Mexican striker finally found a place where he can do the thing he knows the best, to score. Now he has a decent chance to become the best Mexican talent in Europe.
The underrated Çağlar Söyüncü
The Premier League faced unsuccessful spells of Turkish players in the past. Leicester City's Çağlar Söyüncü could have easily been one of them, if you only take a look at his club career. However, he is one of the great minds of The Foxes this season.
Leicester City holds the third-best defensive record in the league, conceding 28 goals in 29 games. Söyüncü's hard work as a defender could be easily missed when you are playing alongside stars like Jamie Vardy, but those who pay attention have already marked him as a key piece in the side. There are rumors that he will be a Manchester City player next season - but meanwhile, pay attention to his performances in Leicester City.
Teemu Pukki for the rescue
It should have been Teemu Pukki's summer. Finland qualified to Euro 2020, its first-ever appearance in a major competition. The Euro was delayed, and now Pukki needs to focus on his mission to survive with Norwich City in the Premier League.
Pukki began the season with six goals in five matches but struggled since then to find the net. Norwich is now looking for his help and skills to avoid relegation after only one season. People thought that Finland would never qualify for a major tournament, so in a season that he makes the impossible, perhaps Pukki could create another miracle.
Marcelo Bielsa is back
Not only the Premier League is coming back, but so does the Championship. After a narrow miss of promotion last season, Marcelo Bielsa is now in position to lead Leeds United back to the Premier League after 16 years.
Bielsa is not the usual coach we tend to see in England. On one side, he revealed how he spied against Derby Country, showing his in-depth analysis that was extremely criticized. On the other hand, he showed his fair play manners in a game against Aston Villa last season, where he let a potential play-off rival score an important goal due to unfair play by his team. His unique personality is the reason that Leeds United can be the most exciting team in the Premier League next season.
