Sharjah FC Advances to AFC Champions League Two Final

Sharjah, UAE — Sharjah FC secured their place in the 2025 AFC Champions League Two final after a commanding 2-0 home victory over Saudi Arabia's Al-Taawon in the semi-final second leg, overturning a 1-0 first-leg deficit to win 2-1 on aggregate.

The match remained goalless until stoppage time when Ousmane Camara and Firas Ben Larbi emerged as the heroes for the hosts. Camara netted the first goal in quick succession, scoring in the 94th minute and Ben Larbi added his own on the 99th minute, to seal Sharjah's comeback and send them to the final.

With this victory, Sharjah FC advances to the AFC Champions League Two final, and will play the winner between Australian Sydney FC and Lion City Sailors from Singapore.

The winner will earn a spot in the preliminary stage of the 2025–26 AFC Champions League Elite, provided they haven't already qualified through domestic performance.

This triumph marks a significant achievement for Sharjah FC as they aim to clinch their first title in the newly rebranded AFC Champions League Two.
