AFC eChampions League Elite to debut in Jeddah

The inaugural AFC eChampions League Elite (eACL Elite) is set to launch in Jeddah on April 24, 2025, marking a new chapter in Asian football eSports.

Hosted at the King Abdullah Sports City Sports Hall, the event will run alongside the AFC Champions League Elite Finals, scheduled from April 25 to May 3.

Featuring Asia’s top eFootball™ 2025 players in 1v1 matchups, the competition mirrors the prestigious club tournament it complements, with participation limited to teams from the 2024/25 AFC Champions League Elite™. The League Stage, split between East and West regions, takes place on April 24–25, leading into a knockout round that breaks regional barriers from April 26.

Quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final will follow, culminating on April 28 when the first-ever eACL Elite champion will be crowned. The AFC’s latest digital initiative highlights its ongoing push to innovate and grow football's reach across the continent.
