Al-Nassr Crush Yokohama to Reach AFC Champions Semis

Al-Nassr stormed into the AFC Champions League semifinals with a commanding 4-1 victory over Yokohama F. Marinos, last year's runners-up, in a performance that underlined the Saudi club’s continental ambitions.

The Japanese side, who had been hoping to return to the final for a second straight year, were overwhelmed by Al-Nassr's firepower. Colombian striker Jhon Duran starred with a brilliant brace, setting the tone early and keeping Yokohama’s defense under constant pressure.

Sadio Mané added a third with a clinical finish, showcasing his class and experience on the big stage. Cristiano Ronaldo then put the result beyond doubt, scoring Al-Nassr’s fourth goal with a typically composed strike. The goal was a personal milestone for the Portuguese superstar — his 33rd of the season across all competitions and the 935th of his glittering career.

Despite some spirited moments from Yokohama, including a consolation goal by Kota Watanabe, Al-Nassr's dominance was rarely threatened. Driven by their European stars and a growing core of Saudi talent, Al-Nassr now look like serious contenders to lift the revamped AFC Champions League Elite title.

The Riyadh giants will face the winner of the quarterfinal clash between Kawasaki Frontale and Al-Sadd in the semifinals, as they aim to cap off their impressive campaign with a historic continental crown.
