AFCON 2023: The best Africa Cup of Nations can't stop improving

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations’ knockout stage started on Saturday night with exciting matches between Angola and Namibia and Nigeria to Cameroon.

While The Angolans danced and thrashed Namibia 3-0, the Nigerian Super Eagles hammered Cameroon 2-0 with a brace by Ademola Lookman and a quality display by Victor Osimehn. On Sunday, two clashes emerged with quality football and great drama.

Egypt vs Democratic Republic of Congo (1-1, DR Congo won on penalties)

In a heart-stopping encounter, Egypt faced the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw in regular time, thanks to goals by Meschal Elia and Mohamed Mostafa.
