CAF, SuperSport to air African Schools Finals 2025

CAF and SuperSport have struck a deal to broadcast the CAF African Schools Football Championship Ghana 2025 Continental Finals, scheduled for April 23–26, 2025.

The matches will air in HD on DStv, the SuperSport Schools App, SABC+ App, and CAF TV on YouTube.

Sixteen teams – eight Boys' and eight Girls' U-15 squads – will battle for the title in the third edition of the tournament, launched in 2022 by CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe. Winners will secure a USD 300,000 prize for school legacy projects.

Hosts Ghana will face Uganda, South Africa, and Algeria in Boys’ Group A, while defending champions Tanzania lead Group B. In the Girls' tournament, Ghana heads Group A, and South Africa starts its title defense in Group B.

Former Banyana Banyana star Amanda Dlamini joins as an event ambassador, alongside African legends Abedi Pele, Robert Kadiaba, Kareem Haggui, Adjoa Bayor, and Clementine Toure.

The championship, backed by a USD 10-million Motsepe Foundation donation, has seen nearly two million African youth participate since its inception.
