The Gambia v Mali, 14:00 CET, Limbe Stadium, Limbe
Both teams won on matchday 1 - The Gambia did so while scoring their first-ever goal in the competition, in a tough fight against Mauritania. Mali’s win, on the other hand, was more farce than fight, with their game more notable for one of the most bizarre officiating displays in recent times.
BabaGol’ prediction: Although Mali has far more experience, The Gambia have a quality in their squad that just cannot be matched by their opponents. With the game kicking off early, combined with the humidity in Limbe, this one is going to be a low-score draw.
Bet365 odds: The Gambia 7.00 | Draw 3.25 | Mali 1.66

Ivory Coast v Sierra Leone, 17:00 CET, Japoma Stadium, Douala
The Ivory Coast will come up against the hero of the first matchday, Sierra Leone goalkeeper Mohammed Kamara, who managed to stop the African champions, Algeria, with a fantastic display. The Elephants have one of the most talented squads in Africa but are yet to show how they play together as a team.
BabaGol’s prediction: Despite the exciting start, Mohammed Kamara will concede a goal or two. Ivory Coast to win, and to go through to the last 16.
Bet365 odds: Ivory Coast 1.33 | Draw 4.50 | Sierra Leone 12.00
Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 return to action today against Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 in Douala.

All eyes on goalkeeper Mohamed Kamara who made 7 saves vs the reigning champions Algeria denying them from scoring for the first time since October 2018.

Tunisia v Mauritania, 17:00 CET, Limbe Stadium, Limbe
Tunisia are furious after the saga against Mali, when the referee called the game off before the 90-minute mark, but they have to show they are bigger than that. Mauritania lost to The Gambia and must grab at least a draw from this.
BabaGol’s prediction: Tunisia will win.
Bet365 odds: Tunisia 1.45 | Draw 4.50 | Mauritania 9.00

Algeria v Equatorial Guinea, 20:00 CET, Japoma Stadium, Douala
No excuses for Djamel Belmadi and his players in this one. Algeria, the reigning champions, haven’t scored yet in this competition, despite being tipped as favourties to win. Equatorial Guinea are a stubborn side, and will give their all in a bid to stop the Desert Warriors.
BabaGol’s prediction: It will be a hard fight, but Algeria will win, because they have to.
Bet365 odds: Algeria 1.33 | Draw 4.75 | Equatorial Guinea 11.00
